Here is a list of few most difficult exams of India:-

UPSC Civil Examination

It is considered as India's most difficult exam. Every year around 9,00,000 students give this exam but success rate is about 0.1% to 03%. Selective candidates get job in various government services such as IAS (Indian Administrative services), IPS (Indian Police Services)and IFS (Indian Foreign Service).


CAT (Common Aptitude Test)

After cracking this examination students get admission in various business related colleges and in colleges which offers MBA's. It is a very competitive exam with 2,00,000 participations very year. In this examination students are examined on their sills in English, Mathematics and logical reasoning.


IIT JEE

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is one of the world's most difficult engineering entrance examination. Every year over 10,00,000 students registered for this exam but achievement rate is about 1 in 45. It is taken in two parts JEE Main which is a little easier and JEE Advanced which is very difficult to solve. Candidates who cleared JEE Advanced can get admission in top engineering colleges in India like IIT according to their rank.


GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

This exam is conducted for admission in Post Graduate courses (Master and Doctoral). There are 8,00,000 average registrations every year. One results are announced it will be only valid for three years only.


CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)

This exam is conducted for admissions in 16 national law colleges of India. Its average yearly registrations are about 77,000. Candidates who cracks this examination are eligible to take admission in courses like BA LLB, BSc LLB, BA LLB, B Com LLB, BSW LLB.


NET ( National Eligibility Test)

It is conducted for choosing college level lecturers and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). It is taken in 83 different subjects. It is so hard that candidates can't crack it even in their fifth attempt. This year around 5,00,000 candidates appeared for the examination.


NDA (National Defence Academy)

It is conducted for electing candidates for Indian Army, Air Force and Naval Wings. Candidates who cleared this exam has to give a interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of written examination, phycological aptitude test, intelligence and on interview.
